Pharoahe Monch is one of those rappers who could have easily gone down in the GOAT discussion if he played the game, but instead he's decided to make the music he wants to make, and release it when he wants to release it. Anyone who's got a problem with that can suck it.

That's meant that life can be pretty frustrating for Monch fans, but it also means that you treat everything new the man does as a big deal. So yeah, I couldn't press play on this new “Haile Selassie Karate" video fast enough. Shot in Mitchell’s Plain, South Africa, this is one of those anti-anti-swag rap videos we frankly need more of.
