Khaled Yells, Drake Sings, Weezy Raps & Rick Ross Coughs, It’s “I’m On One” (Listen & Download)

Actually....that was a pretty dope headline. I'm not really sure what more I can add - let me try anyway. There are a few lessons to be learned from DJ Khaled's new record, "I'm On One". Lesson one, if you want to make a banger, don't let Drake lead the way. Not only did Drizzy deliver a sung hook like this was fucking "Fireworks" or something, his partner Noah "40" Shebib produced the beat, which means it sounds like it was recorded underwater. If you want your banger to make white teenage girls cry, Drake's your man.

Lesson two, Khaled's getting lazy and doesn't even bother to yell a lot anymore, which is for the best.

Lesson three, Lil Wayne doesn't really care about being the best rapper alive anymore. Pre-prison he would have made it a point to destroy this, now he throws out a mediocre Pat Riley reference and calls it a day. We're a long way from the "I'm So Hood (Remix)".

Lesson four: Rick Ross is secretly one of the most consistent rappers in the game. He'll never be Nas, but he does what he does - mumble about money and women - on track after track. He's like a rapping bear...who works really hard. Or something. Not my best analogy.

Off Khaled’s upcoming album, "We The Best", dropping June 28. Though I'm not sure why I'm telling you considering exactly 0.0% of RefinedHype Nation will be purchasing a copy.
