Don't you miss the days when a new Drake track would drop and everyone would lose their collective minds? You don't? Yeah, me neither, but now that Drizzy's gearing up to drop a R&B mixtape those pre-"Thank You Later" days are going to return, albeit in diluted form. The point is, Drizzy's new, tear-stained record, "I Get Lonely Too" dropped last night, and the internets will undoubtedly be spending today alternately fawning over "Lonely" and slamming Drake for not rapping. Ready, and, go....
Oh, my opinion? I thought you'd never ask. First of all, this is only "r&b" in the loosest sense of the term. It's more like "whatever the hell you call Drake singing over one of those ambient Noah '40' Shebib beats". And while I'm not going to hate on the man, Drake's has one of the best singing voices out of any rapper, this is clearly aimed at fifteen-year-old girls (peep the official artwork above) and, well, I'm a grown ass man. But if you have a vagina and like to write on your backpack in white-out, by all means, put this on repeat.
I'm sorry, was that mean? Did I just insult the significant portion of RefinedHype nation who are digging this? Oh well, I don't take it back. Drake's r&b-esque mixtape, It's Never Enough, drops sometime later than yesterday.

Good effort from "40", but the original TLC version "Fanmail" is much better.

The songs OK I guess, but Drake just isn't that good of a singer so a whole "R&B" project from him just doesn't seem to exiting.

For all that tough talk above, after a day I'm gonna have to go with "Ah, it's ok." Nothing to hate on, but I don't see anyone outside the teenage girl demographic really getting that excited.
