Wack Rappers, Stay the Hell Away From DJ Charlie White’s “Proper Etiquette” Instrumentals Posted by Nathan S. on 02/06/13 | Filed under Downloads, Mixtapes, Beats, DJ Charlie White

It's hard for me to write this without sounding like a grumpy old hip-hop head, but fuck it, I've definitely got some grumpy, old hip-hop head in me. These days it seems like every producer's out to make the next "hot" beat; what happened to the instrumental album? You know, the kind of project you could just straight up listen to without a single word being spoken. In fact, you'd be mad at a rapper for even touching the beat.

It may be a dying art form, but there are still a select few true instrumentalists still out there, and DJ Charlie White is one of them. I'd never even dream of touching a mic, but I've now listened to his new "Proper Etiquette" mixtape on repeat for the last hour straight, and I've got at least another hour in me.

I know there are a lot of rappers out in RefinedHype Nation, and I know y'all are starving for quality production. Y'all can go ahead and download "Proper Etiquette" too, but if I hear you drop some mediocre rhymes over this shit I swear to sweet baby jesus, it's going to be a Jules situation.

Everyone else, enjoy....
