It was a family affair at the Atlanta album listening session for rapper Big Boi’s "Sir Luscious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty". At the event Big Boi was joined by his mother, son (who danced along to just about every song), and other family members. During the event Big Boi showed off his southern hospitality as he frequently asked attendee’s if they needed more drinks, even offering a bottle of Hennessy to the crowd of DJ’s and members of the media.

In typical listening session fashion Big Boi played all the tracks from his upcoming album and gave a very brief description of each track including who produced the song and the artist(s) featured. A number of tracks featured on the album including “Shutterbugg,” “Tangerine,” and “Shine Blockas” have already made their way onto the internet but Big Boi did reveal that the album version of “Shine Blockas” will be a remixed version featuring Bun B and Project Pat.

Other surprises on the album include a new track featuring up and coming Southern rapper YelaWolf, produced by Andre 3000, that’s still in the works but will be included on the final product.

The album also currently features a handful of songs that are still incomplete including a track with singer Janelle Monae that Big Boi revealed is about eight bars away from being finished. A Boi-1da track featuring fellow Outkast member Andre 3000 will hopefully serve as a sample of what we can expect from a possible reunion album from the duo.

Sir Luscious Leftfoot also includes tracks from Big Boi’s new group Vonnegutt, Sleepy Brown, and more as well as production from Organized Noize. On the more humorous side, the album features a number of hilarious skits including one about a particular sex trick called the “David Blaine.” You’ll have to cop the album to learn more about that one.

All in all, Big Boi’s album is destined to be a classic. It’s a mix of that funkiness Outkast fans are so accustomed to and the clever lyricism Big Boi is well-known for. "Sir Luscious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty" will be released on July 6.
