adidas, Jeremy Scott & ASAP Rocky Join Forces For “WINGS 2.0 BLACK FLAG” KicksPosted by Ru Porter on 09/19/13 | Filed under Style, Sneakers, Adidas, ASAP Rocky |

Both in fashion and music it’s all about making a statement through art. One of the most forward-thinking designers today has to be Jeremy Scott. And from a hip-hop standpoint, A$AP Rocky immediately comes to mind solely because of his fashion sense. The Harlem rapper has an innate ability to make high-end threads rockable in the streets no matter what he’s wearing. The same can be said for Scott’s adidas sneakers, so it’s not surprising to hear that the two have collaborated on a pair of JS WINGS 2.0 silhouettes. What’s more surprising, is how tame the color schemes and patterns are, considering how quirky Jeremy can be, but at least you can wear these with anything.
The all black adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott x A$AP Rocky WINGS 2.0 BLACK FLAG trainers reportedly celebrates the bond between these longtime friends and takes cues from Rocky’s lifestyle, attitude and personal interests. Inspiration for the design stems from the artwork for the LongLiveA$AP album, which features a black and white version of the American flag, as well as the rappers love for Scott’s JS WINGS 2.0 series.
Dropping on September 28 in limited quantities, the adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott x A$AP Rocky WINGS 2.0 BLACK FLAG shoes will retail for $250 each. So what’s the deal RefinedHype Nation, do these live up to the hype, or are these far from what you expected?
