In the past year, Reebok has been making a serious comeback in an attempt to gain popularity with the Millennials just as they did with Generation X and Y (respectively) in the mid-90s. Global Creative Director Swizz Beatz is well aware that the younger sneakerheads today may not fully understand the UK apparel’s rich history over the last 32 years, so he and the higher-ups have decided to release a rather dope visual in hopes of properly conveying the message. Set in Times Square in New York City, Swizz is presented in a “Time Lapse” video that shows him wearing some of the most iconic Reebok Classics shoes of all time.

Styles include the Ex-o-fit Hi, Classic Leather, Pump Omni Zone, Pump Running, Pump Omni Lite, Workout Mid, Question Mid, Alien Stomper, and the Berlin, with heavy representation of Basquiat collection – Swizzy’s (and mine’s) personal favorite.

Additionally, as a follow up to the incredibly successful Retro releases that the Reebok Classics division executed this year, the video also gives a great overview of where Reebok has been and where Reebok aims to go in the future.
