It's no secret that Derrick Rose has a lot of love for his hometown of Chicago and he's gone on to express his passion for the city thanks to numerous releases with Adidas. Rose's latest ode to the Windy City comes with the announcement of the "Michigan Avenue" edition of the adidas Rose 3.0. And I've got to give it to Rose and the folks over at Adidas, this might just be my favorite collaboration from the duo.

I happen to be a sucker for any type of apparel with a story behind it and the "Michigan Avenue" adidas Rose 3.0 boasts just that. According to Adidas, the colorway for the sneaker was inspired by the various lights and characters that fill Michigan Avenue during the holiday season. Now I've never been to Chicago so I'm not sure how reminiscent that colorway is when it comes to that particular street, but the concept is pretty dope. These particular pair of kicks sport the sleek look of your typical pair of Rose sneakers, but the bold colorway really gives the "Michigan Avenue" a nice dose of added flair.

The "Michigan Avenue" adidas Rose 3.0 will be released on November 15 for $160 and can be purchased via Adidas.com.
