Kanye, Pusha, CyHi, Big Sean & J. Cole are “Looking for Trouble” (Listen & Download)

I was listening to the entire "Good Friday" series over the weekend, and the one thing I kept coming back to time and time again is the production. "The Joy"? "Don't Stop"? A lot of producers don't put out anything that dope in their entire careers, and Kanye West's knocking them out in a weekly basis. Could he be....the best producer alive?

And then, in the midst of all my beat-making pondering, Ye went and dropped "Looking for Trouble", a record that's clearly intended to be first and foremost meant to showcase lyricism. Mission accomplished. Pusha T, who's quickly becoming Yeezy's constant sidekick, crushes his verse in typical cocaina fashion, Kanye comes through with some damn good punchlines ("I'm pissed, the misogyny, bad bitches massaging me" and CyHi continues to impress. But it's the work of Big Sean, who despite some of my previous doubts absolutely crushes this verse, and J. Cole, who reminds us that he's still not overhyped, that will have people talking. Speaking of which, let's get right to it.




On a random closing note, what the hell is CyHi's official name? On his Twitter and in the emails I get from him it's "CyHi Da Prynce", but the "Good Friday" people have been spelling it "The Prynce" this entire series. Pick one and go with it Cy. Small detail I know, but it's the small details that always drive me crazy.
