Jarren Benton Promises “Ima Murder” Wack Emcees (Listen & Download)

As those who have been following the work of SMKA Atlanta production crew SMKA knows, they don't do anything that isn't fiercely creative and fiercely original. And if you don't know, you really need to check out the new Jarren Benton record, "Ima Murder".

In typical fashion, that SMKA beat is pistachions/walnuts/Planters etc., starting with a smoothed out organ and then quickly catapulting into an ominous banger, and as for Benton, any dude that can rhyme "Tyrannosaurus" with "sorceress", and have it make sense, is an instant winner in my book. On the real, if you hate music mainstream radio would never touch, don't even bother pressing play. As for the project details, I'll let the men themselves break it down.

"'Jarren Benton meets SMKA: Huffing Glue with Hasselhoff' is the third project in the, '(Artist) meets SMKA' series. This project showcases one of the livest, craziest, and perhaps most slept on MC in the Greater Atlanta Area. Simply put, he is the most interesting man in Decatur. He may look a little like Justin Bieber - in the right light - but don’t be fooled, he will kill you. We hope you enjoy this project as much as you would huffing glue with Hasselhoff on the set of Baywatch."

The fantastically named "Sniffing Glue With Hasslehoff" drops January 25 - support quality music.
