Before we get started on the review, I just want to point out one thing: Tron, the original 1982 cult classic, is far from a great film. It had state of the art visuals and a likable lead but that’s where the praise ends. I'm going to be very blunt: a hit single doesn't mean sh!t anymore. Flo Rida releases a Top 20 single every 3 months and his albums haven't even gone gold. What matters is a fan base. Flo Rida has hits for days but, face it, there is no such thing as a die hard Flo Rida fan. The teenage girls who spend money buying the year's biggest singles are never going to purchase a full album. See more...

Johnny Knoxville and the gang are back again for the 3D stunt and prank hybrid, Jackass 3D. For the third film, Johnny Knoxville and his merry band of idiots once more subject one another to a series of stunts and pranks that test the limit of the human body (and an audience’s gag reflex). As far as originality goes, it doesn’t get much worse than Takers. Remember all those films that revolve around bank heists? You know…like Dog Day Afternoon, The Italian Job, and Oceans 11? Well yeah, if you’ve seen those, you’ve seen this. It really is that simple. The movie doesn’t have a single original bone in its body. Call it a fast-food film. Will “Scott Pilgrim” end up on that list of my favorite comedies? Probably. It wasn’t quite as funny as “Hot Fuzz” or “Shaun of the Dead”, but the film’s over-the-top performances, stunning editing and cinematography, and incredible soundtrack (all songs were written and composed by Beck) make “Scott Pilgrim v. It’s been almost three years since the last time I enjoyed a Will Ferrell comedy. For the most part, Ferrell’s career has been on a sharp decline since “Blades of Glory”. This weekend saw he release of “The Other Guys”, and the movie blew my expectations out of the water. "Predators" digs deep into these questions – giving us a hard look at what separates us from animals and just how far we’re willing to go to survive. Okay, that was a lie. Actually, Predators just spends a lot of time blowing s**t up. No surprise there, right?
