Rap Lines That Make No Fu**king Sense: The All-Dipset Edition

Cam'ron - "Get 'Em Girls"

I thought this was the perfect place to start for two reasons. One, because “Get Em Girls” also includes the classic line “I get the computers ‘putin” which, although ridiculous, technically makes sense. Computers compute (or “pute”), that’s what they do. And two, because much of Cam and the crews’ rhymes may not be “wrong”, but they don’t make any fucking sense because they’re well, gibberish.

For example, “Chick from hooter to hooter, I put two in producers / I’m the real ball story, the loser of hoosiers.”

Um….what? You’re the loser of Hoosiers? Is he referring to the classic sports movies “Hoosiers”, only saying that unlike that lovable band of upstarts he loses the big game? And if so, why would anyone ever say that? And as long as we’re talking about classic ‘80s movies, how about this line:

“My team is the “Goonies” we were seen with buffoonies.”

First, I don’t know who buffoonies are. Second, you’re really saying your team is these guys? And that’s a good thing? (By the way, Freaky Zeke is totally Chunk.)

I could spend all day on this track alone, but let’s move along…
