TheChuckness Presents: The Top 5 (Non) Hip-Hop Songs Of The WeekPosted by The Chuckness on 04/12/11 | Filed under Top Stories, Features, The Chuckness, Top 5 Non Hip Hop |
Xaphoon Jones (1/2 of Chiddy Bang) is arguably my favorite up and coming producer out there right now. The guy’s been consistently laying down dynamite beats for a couple years now, and this fusion of the Jackson 5 and Passion Pit is some of his best work to date. Apparently he took the original seed of the idea from the NYC production duo The Knocks, and he’s transformed it into his own, full-length track. Definitely worth the addition to your library, as is the Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Vol. 2 in its entirety.

smh I can't believe Def Jam dropped Frank Ocean from their label. Nostalgia, Ultra is the dopest rnb album i've heard in a long time |

Super cool post with some very cool music. Actually awesome. That kid w/ the AOTL remix has talent for sure. And Ocean is dope too. I'll be looking foward to the next one. |
