TheChuckness Presents: The Top 5 (Non) Hip-Hop Songs Of The Week

2. AWOLNATION – Sail

AWOLNATION is an American indie rock band on the up and up. When I first heard “Sail”, it immediately struck a chord with me…it’s just unlike anything I’ve ever heard. The opening sequence had me thinking I was getting ready for a boy-band chart-topper, then six seconds later I thought I was preparing to enter a techno rave. Then the lead singer comes out of nowhere and just belts “SAIL!” at the top of his lungs, and I confirmed that there was no way in hell I could’ve guessed what I was about to hear. I all but guarantee you’ll put this one on repeat.
