Slick Rick's Not Particularly Slick Halftime Show

This week Frank Isola of the New York Daily News caught a lot of deserved heat when he questioned Slick Rick’s status as a hip-hop legend after Rick’s reportedly terrible halftime performance. Slick Rick is a legend, fuck you Isola.

But….this performance really is terrible. Just awful. I don’t know if Rick couldn’t hear the beat, or if he was drunk, or if he was busy staring at the Nets’ cheerleaders, but this is absolutely unlistenable.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go pretend like this never happened.
