I know there might be some of you out there who are planning to shoot a low-budget version of “Cribs” in order to jump start your rap career. Great, have fun, but first let’s watch Detroit rapper Calicoe give it a shot so we can learn what NOT to do:

1) Don’t show off the kennel where you keep your obviously malnourished dogs.
2) Don’t then say things like, “Anyone want to fight some dogs? I hope we don’t get indicted for that.”
3) You probably also don’t want to show off a rooster you refer to as Grand Champion and sat “Oh, we fight them too.”

You know, because if, say, the video goes viral and the cops see it, they might, for example, raid your house and seize all your dogs. So let’s consider that a lesson learned for all you potential bootleg “Cribs” makers out there.
