Pastor Threatens Useless Meek Mill Boycott

You know you’ve made it when religious figured start to threaten to boycott your music. This week Meek Mill and Philly Pastor Jomo Johnson got into a war of words when Johnson called Meek’s “Amen” blasphemous and threatened to boycott of the rapper. Meek takes the time to really get into some serious debate with Johnson, but if I were Meek, here’s how that conversation would have gone:

Meek Mill: I don’t think you understand how a boycott works.
Pastor: What do you mean?
Meek Mill: Well, if a bunch of people who don’t buy my music threaten to not buy my music, why would I care?
Pastor: Well….
Meek Mill: That’s like blind people boycotting a movie, or deaf people boycotting headphones, or Rick Ross boycotting Weight Watchers. Boycotts only work when consumers of a product stop buying that product. Since you’re not consumers of my product, go ahead, boycott away. It literally won’t affect me at all.
Pastor: I guess I didn’t really think this through.
Meek Mill: That’s alright, it happens all the time.
