When it comes to describing your favorite rapper, unless they happen to be Game, the word "emotional" is likely never going to come up. So it comes across as very refreshing hearing Jadakiss, Nipsey Hussle, and Young Jeezy in a more vulnerable state on DJ Drama's "Quality Street Music" record "Never Die. On the record all three emcee's swap verses on friends they've lost and attempt to lessen that loss as they proclaim that "real ni**as never die." Although the record comes across as somewhat somber the "Never Die" mentality seems to add a touch of optimism.

On top of our trio of emcee's, "Never Die" also features an appearance from Atlanta crooner/rapper Cee Lo Green who lends his velvety vocals to the song's hook. (Non-Hater Side Note: See Slaughterhouse, this is how you include Cee Lo on a Hip-Hop record without turning it into a mildly questionable pop record) On the production end of the record is New Jersey producer Cardiak who laces "Never Die" with a less solemn, bass-driven beat.

DJ Drama's "Quality Street Music" will be released on October 2.
