It’s rare that I come to the defense of Justin Bieber, but this week Stacey Wilson Betts sued the Biebs for $9 million after it (shockingly) turned out that his concert was really loud:

“Betts claimed that she was injured by a sound blast that “exceeded safe decibel levels. [Bieber] climbed into a heart shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled out over the crowd,” creating a “wave like effect of screaming” that “enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion,” Betts said in the documents. “Due to the negligence of Justin Bieber, that steel gondola acted as “a sound conductor,” creating a “sound blast” that permanently damaged both of Betts’ ears.” - via EOnline

This isn’t the first time Betts has tried such a lawsuit. In 2009 she sued McDonald’s for serving a cooked piece of meat between two buns, in 2010 she sued Ford for making a truck that moved forward when the gas pedal was stepped on, and in 2011 she sued Jiffy for making their peanut butter from peanuts and butter.
