Please Don't Tell Me Ma$e Is Coming Back

I know there are a lot of people this week furious that Trinidad James got signed for a reported $2 million. I can’t say I care enough to really get worked up about it, but I can relate - ten years ago I hated Ma$e just as much as anyone hates Trinidad James today. For my money there’s never been a worse rapper who’s gotten more shine. Never.

I’m willing to admit that my hatred has reached irrational levels, but listening to him say that he would have been Drake if he didn’t leave music? I want to punch my computer screen. That’s like Jamarcuss Russell saying that if he hadn’t been a 400 pound syrup addict, he would have been Tom Brady.

And Kanye’s just crazy enough to actually sign Ma$e to GOOD Music for the fuck of it. I swear, if he goes to GOOD and I have to listen to 37 Ma$e verses on “Cruel Summer 2” or “Cruel Winter” or “Cruel Late Autumn” or whatever the fuck they’re going to call it, I’m gonna go angry panda.
