Diddy Pretends to be Humble for 5 Seconds

You gotta love Diddy. He’s ego’s so big that even when he’s trying to be humble, he’s still the world’s biggest narcissist.

As a quick bit of background, Diddy recently “won” an Best Documentary Oscar for “Undefeated” as the film’s executive producer.

For all of you not fluent in Hollywood speak, “executive producer” roughly translates as “guy who gave us a bunch of money so we feel obligated to give him a job title, but we don’t want him to actually do anything, other than maybe give us more money.”

Many felt that Diddy was (shockingly) exaggerating the role he had in making the movie a success, so this week he set out to give the film’s directors some real credit. He even went so far as to blame the media for giving him too much credit, credit that he of course never wanted. “Everyone just ran with it like yeah, I’m the only Oscar winner.”

Yeah Diddy - it’s so fucked up how the media completely misinterpreted your Oscar celebration. I mean, it’s not like you tweeted this:

I’d like to take this moment to apologize to Sean Combs on behalf of the media. You’re right. Clearly you’ve been all about praising the actual filmmakers from the start and would never take undue credit for an Oscar win. Again, I’m sorry.
