The interesting thing about the lead up to T.I.'s upcoming "Trouble Man" is that he's avoided what Yoh labeled yesterday as, "Money Makin Mitch Syndrome", when an aging rapper attaches themselves to young talent like some sort of rap barnacle in an attempt to prolong their career...until today...kind of.

After a few listens to TIP's new joint, "Wildside", I'm still undecided. It's definitely a different sound for T.I., especially considering he's been doing a lot of getting back to his roots, hard rhyming lately, and just because an older rapper grabs some new talent doesn't mean they're barnacling. A$AP Rocky can be legitimately rap, and his verse here is solid.

Oh well, as always I'm probably just over-thinking things. "Wildside" is my least favorite track off "Trouble Man" so far, it's just not really connecting for me, but it's not wack either. So, yeah.

Ultimately, I'm still stoked to hear "Trouble Man" when it inevitably leaks sometime tomorrow; I mean drops Tuesday. In the meantime, enjoy...
