So here's how I picture it going down. ?uestlove and the rest of The Roots are hanging out on a Saturday afternoon and rehearsing. They take a lunch break and over some burritos when they get to talking about J Dilla. It isn't long before Damon "Tuba Gooding Jr." Bryson brings up the idea of recording a Dilla mixtape, and five hours later they've got a full fourteen tracks of live JD instrumentals called "Dilla joints". Cause, you know, that's the type of thing that's easy when you're the dopest band on the planet.

Of course I have no idea how it really went down, but the results the same. How do you feel about The Roots covering J Dilla beats? If you're not excited, get the f off my site. Enjoy people.
