Weekend Rewind: Action Bronson “Blue Chips 2” x “Blue Chips” Edition Posted by Lucas G. on 11/01/13 | Filed under Downloads, Mixtapes, Streams, Action Bronson, Weekend Edition

Aren’t we lucky?? Action Bronson said he would drop "Blue Chips 2" on “the first day it rains in November” and that day just so happened to be today, November 1. Whether he already had it planned to drop today who knows - he probably did - but I will continue to argue that mother nature wanted to hear it today. Also by coincidence, it dropped on a Friday…just in time to be the "Weekend Rewind" for this week.

To be honest, I am not a big Bronson guy. I respect him and think he is creative, funny, and unique, but it just isn’t my style. That being said, I have yet to hear anybody say anything bad about him, so I think it is time I give him another chance. I am gonna start with the new stuff, but I might also have to go back and make myself listen to the first Blue Chips tape.

I refuse to see a sequel of a movie without seeing the orignial  first and I think albums are the same way. For those who all are already hip to the game, enjoy "Blue Chips 2", but for those who are a little behind, be sure to check out the first "Blue Chips" too! And as an extra bonus, here's Bronson's fantastic commercial for the tape. Enjoy your weekend y’all.
