You Might Just Shed A Thug Tear During Snoop Lion’s Interview With Sway (Video)Posted by Danielle Harling on 05/15/13 | Filed under Videos, Snoop Dogg |
Call me crazy, but Snoop Lion really needs to release a book. I mean, a real book. Not a 20-page pamphlet on the best ways to roll marijuana or some other gimmicky idea, but a book that shares all the amazing stories he has as a pioneer in Hip-Hop.
While speaking with radio and television personality Sway, Snoop shared a handful of moving stories on both Tupac Shakur (20:05) and Notorious B.I.G. (15:45). Snoop's story on his last moments with Tupac proved to be the most moving of the bunch since the pair had a falling out right before the rapper was gunned down in Vegas. It was also pretty powerful hearing Snoop speak on the words Tupac's mom shared with him when he arrived at the hospital that fateful night.
Prior to speaking on Tupac, Snoop spoke on his relationship with Biggie and revealed that despite all the sensation in the media, he too had love for Tupac. Here are just a few of Snoop's quotes from his Biggie story:
"Biggie was my homeboy. He was a real, real friend of mine. I remember early on when we used to come out here he used to hangout with us. They used to ride in limo's with us, go smoke, chill, the whole nine. When he made that record, the last record he made, he played a song for me. I went to the studio with him. He was like, 'I want you to hear this song'...And he played this song: 'I'm dreaming of Learjets and mansions and Coupes/ And trying to sell records like Snoop...oops'...He wanted the world to know 'I love Snoop Dogg and Snoop Dogg loves me.'"
"We kicked it for about an hour strong and he was like 'Man, I love Pac. Man, I don't know why.' So, we was just having that intimate conversation about how he never hated Tupac. How he loved Tupac, but this is just me and him in a private room...That was the last time I seen him."
