Shane Eli Provides “The Push” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

I'll let you in on a secret. The music industry may claim it wants versatile artists, but the truth is truly talented artists gives the mainstream fits. Although the truly huge artists are all versatile (see Kanye), in the end they'd rather have an artist they can easily package and they know will consistently deliver the same product over and over again, even if it's not very good (no, of course I'm not talking about you Gucci).

Well then Los Angeles rapper/producer/singer/etc. Shane Eli will drive them crazy. On the real, I haven't heard someone sound more comfortable in any style than Eli in a minute, and hsi new mixalbum "The Push" is the proof. "The Push" contains everything from slow piano ballads to bouncing club cuts, and almost insanely they all sound dope. Sorry other rappers, but Shane can do your style, and he probably does it better.

The project is produced entirely by Eli, and singer Kamilah Gibson makes the sole guest appearance.
