Did Rick Ross Just Ruin Kanye’s “Devil in a New Dress”? (Listen & Download)

Kanye West Take One for the Team Original Banned Artwork
Come on, it's Kanye West people. You didn't think we were going to get some surprises before "Dark Twisted Fantasy" drops in two weeks? Today it was revealed, and by "revealed" I mean "leaked", that none other than the man with the biggest man boobs in the game would be adding his luxury rap stylings to the final album version of "Devil in a New Dress". Surprise mofos!

He may have only let Rick Ross say seven words on "Monster", but here Yeezy creates an entirely new bridge for the Bawse to rap over, and I have to say; while I was terrified when I first pressed play, "Blue Dress" is one of my favorite Ye beats to drop in literally years, I think Ross works here. That plush production is what Rozay sounds best over, and the new end section gives the track a more cinematic feel. I'm giving it the (not at all) sought after Nathan S. stamp of approval. Let's see if RefinedHype Nation agrees:

For compare and contrast purposes I included the original below as well. Enjoy. Or not.

Ross is on his shit man. Say whatever you will (naysayers) but the Ross of TODAY vs. the Ross from the Port of Miami days (even then he was "good") you CANNOT deny this guy has imprinted his name in Hip Hop.

Each album has been a hit. "50 Cent is turning over in his grave" - in my Charles Barkley voice.

The song wasnt't ruined, but it sure as hell didn't help. Ross is so unnecessary, I would've taken another Ye verse.

I was shocked seeing the tracklist and Rick Ross featured on my probably favorite Good Friday joint.

But the outcome really isn't what I expected, in a positive way. I even like his verse more than any other one from "Teflon Don" which actually isn't that difficult though, but still...

@dirte, way to state the obvious. I'm sure all the Refined Hype readers know Ross was a CO, and I'm sure most arn't to concered.

Anywho, I'm glad the finished version is out. And I agree, Ross just sounds his best over beats like this.

This was better as a Kanye exclusive.
