J. Cole Wants You to Love Him “Before I’m Gone” (Listen & Download)

Fresh off crushing some big name emcees on "Looking for Trouble", the future of Roc Nation is continuing to build some well deserved hype with the release of his latest mixtape joint "Before I'm Gone", a slowly unraveling track that once again blends J. Cole's deep lyricism and street level flow. There's simply nothing to complain about here. Hell, even he even pulls off that singing section at the end. If you're not stoked to pick up his "Friday Night Lights" mixtape this Friday, you don't actually like hip-hop.

By the way, I love what Cole's team is doing with his career. Of course he's in Jay's pockets, so he can afford to take his time, but he's building such a following that, no matter what happens with his debut album, he'll have a long career in the game. Lets just hope Roc Nation don't turn long-awaited into too long.
