This Old School Rakim Joint “Bring It On” Is As Dope As You Hoped (Listen & Download) Posted by Nathan S. on 01/08/13 | Filed under Downloads, Rap Nerdery, Rakim

There's just this feeling you get five seconds into a track when you just know it's going to be dope as fuck. Before the emcee's even said a word, before the beat's even really kicked in, you just...know. That's exactly what I got with this unearthed Rakim joint, "Bring It On".

Originally recorded in '95, producer Dominic Owens just opened the vaults on this one, and I know my fellow rap nerds will be overjoyed that he did. It can be a cop out to say every Rakim track is dope, anyone who says so is just listening on autopilot, but this isn't one of those times. "Bring It On" is the shit. Period. And yeah, it does have me feeling nostalgic for the good ol' days.

Enjoy...
