I'm sure there's some dope new music out there today, but for whatever reason, I'm just not hearing it. So instead of forcing a post up for the sake of posting something, I decided fuck it, I'm going to post one of my favorite songs ever: Cannibal Ox's "Pigeon".

Like I knew it would, the unearthed Weatherman joint I posted earlier really got me reminiscing on the good ol' Def Jux days, and back in those days Can Ox' "Cold Vein" was on constant rotation in my headphones. I realize this is a ridiculously "underground, backpacker guy" thing to say, but Vast Aire and Vordul Mega are tragically underrated, especially Vast. At first listen he may sound like he's just dropping some of that super-abstract rap, but there's some real meaning embedded in all that lyricism.
