I'm not even gonna front, I love me some R. Kelly. The man apparently doesn't have that internal filter that says, "hey, maybe you shouldn't say that." If it pops into his heads he sings it, and incredibly it almost always sounds dope. Case in point, his new track "Tongues". While on the R. Kelly scale of craziness it's actually pretty sane, "Tongues" is yet another example of the man's uncanny ability to take a ridiculous idea and flip it into a catchy track. Throw in a beat from "F** you, pay me" producer Bangladesh and a good-but-not great guest verse from the Ludameister and I've officially found my guilty pleasure track for the day.

This isn't the finished version - it seems likely like at least one more verse will be tacked onto the end - but indications are that "Tongues" will be the lead single to Sylvester's upcoming, currently untitled album.

And shout out to me from the "Cruel Intentions" reference in the pic above. It seems tame by today's standards, but back in my day this was the first major girl-on-girl kiss in mainstream movie history. It's a historic moment - there should be a statue in the Smithsonian.
