It’s Not New Wu-Tang Clan, But It’s Close: “Men of Respect” (Listen) Posted by Nathan S. on 03/06/13 | Filed under Raekwon, Method Man, Wu-Tang Clan

The Wu-Tang name illicits more automatic respect than any name in hip-hop, but over the years there have been so many associates and affiliates to wave the Wu banner, it feels like the name's been diluted.

So no, "Men of Respect" isn't exactly a Wu track, even thought it was produced by Clan regular Mathematics and features Raewon, Method Man and Cappadonna. But this shit still goes pretty hard, and I'll always take a new verse from Termanology. (Nope, I don't know who Eyes Low or Bad Luck are, but apparently they're on the track too.)

In other words, it's a good thing "Men of Respect" is in the hip-hop world, but if this is the closest we get to new Wu Tang music in their 20th anniversary year, I'm going to be disappointed.

I guess all we can do is wait and hope. In the meantime, enjoy...
