The Ol' Skool [insert name of car here] trend in Hip-Hop is gradually becoming pretty overused, but before we say so long to Ol' Skool anything we've gotta give honorable mention to Chi-Town singer Jeremih's "Ol' Skool Pontiac." The audio quality on this one is a little on the sketchy side so I think we can safely assume that the record isn't a finished project. Regardless, it's still pretty dope.

Although the R&B crooner hails from Chicago, "Ol' Skool Pontiac" boasts a heavy Houston-inspired sound and adding to the H-Town theme is a cameo from Texas rapper Paul Wall. The record boasts another guest verse from Detroit emcee Big Sean and even Jeremih seems to tap into his inner lyricist for this one. "Ol' Skool Pontiac" works, but it'd be nice to hear something a little more heavy on the R&B for Jeremih's next release.
