So far today I've delved into club dance territory and retro-soul, so I thought we'd get back to the raps for the rest of the day, and what better way to do it than with a new J. Cole record. Produced by Syience, who drops a beat that at first doesn't make any sense until the drums kick in, at which point you realize it's sick, "I'm On It" features some pretty damn good flows from the future of Roc Nation. Nothing to lose your mind over, but the young man's the next big thing for a reason. Get on it.

By the way, anatomy of an internet rumor: KarenCivil premiered the record with the text "Who knows if this is just another old J. Cole track to add to the archives or if it’s on that upcoming mixtape." Some other blogs (ex.) picked it up, said it "might" be on "Villematic" and posted with the mixtape cover, and now I've got people calling me to ask if I've heard the new track off "Villematic". Good times.
