Game & Lupe Fiasco Inform Their Hater’s To “Skate On” (Listen & Download)

You ever hear a song and think to yourself, "This is incredibly dope, but I could really careless about hearing it ever again." That's exactly how I feel about this new Game and Lupe Fiasco track, "Skate On." Both Lupe and Game have solid verses, but either they're too much of an unexpected pairing or that beat leaves a little something to be desired because I'm not feeling it as much as I thought it would. Something sounds a little off, but then again when you have random DJ drops it tends to eff up the flow of a song just a little bit.

In typical Game fashion the rapper does do a little name-dropping on "Skate On." There's a 50 Cent mention (no shots though). Oh, and there's also a subliminal about some R&B chick. But I'm pretty sure about 85 percent of Game's songs include a 50 Cent mention so this is nothing new.

If you're digging "Skate On" then I'm sure there will be plenty of other lyrical gems on Game's "California Republic" when it's released tomorrow (April 5th).
