The man, the myth, the legend, Prince has had one hell of a career. In addition to having double digit platinum albums, he has also won 7 Grammys, and an Academy Award, and even an academy award to go with his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. All that is great, but obviously the highlight of his career has to be when he was the center of one of the most famous Chappelle’s Show skits ever (if you don’t know what skit I am talking about, may god have mercy on your soul). The skit is so legendary even Prince himself has based his the artwork for his new album, Breakfast Can Wait, off it.

For a 55 year old, Prince has been killing it lately. To go with his Chappelle reference, he has recently hopped on Twitter, under the handle of his backup band, @3rdeyegirl. In addition to the awesome album art tweet above. He has had a few more awesome ones like a “selfie,” a few food tweets, and a classic for throwback Thursday.

Not only is it great to see Prince back in the headlines, but his album’s artwork is probably the best I have seen in a while. Its hilarious but also a big power move; you know if you were the subject of a Chappelle’s Show skit, you have made it. Oh by the way, its even better to know he is making music again! Check out a snippet of the title track off Breakfast Can Wait, which he of course Tweeted; it feels better than purifying yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
