Over the past few years Freeway has transitioned from rhyming over more mainstream beats to an emcee who flows almost exclusively over soulful, underground production (see all his work with Jake One), so it only makes sense that he'd link up with Boston-based super producer Statik Selektah for "The Concept". If you had told me ten years ago that Free would be doing tracks like this on a regular basis I would have said you were crazy, but here we are. Dopeness.

1stround-ko	10 years ago, If you told me that Freeway would be my favorite rapper I would have told you you are crazy. You might be crazy, I don't know, but I am bumping Freeway on a DAILY!!!! Even his old stuff is now relevent now.
