Naked Transparent Women? Pandas? Frank Ocean’s “Novacane” Video’s Got Both (Video Breakdown)

Only an Odd Future member would release a video with imaginary geishas, pandas, tigers, and half-naked women. Earlier today Frank Ocean released the visuals for his highly popular song “Novacane” and with help from director Nabil Elderkin they created quite the interesting music video. Oh and there’s a ghostly-looking, topless woman in the beginning of the video so you might want to make sure that your boss isn’t around for the first 20 seconds or so.



0:04 – Somebody get Mr. Ocean a new light bulb.

0:13 – Umm, is that a ghost woman rubbing her tata’s? That’s a music video first…I think.

0:35 – And more naked ghostly women. See that’s exactly why you need to stay away from drugs kids.

1:12 – Why, is this guy so sad? You just had a translucent booty in your face. Cheer up.

1:32 – The tiger is hella random.

1:45 – What did he just put on his face? Is that Vaseline? This is turning into an episode of the “Bad Girls Club.” Maybe he’s planning on fist fighting with that imaginary tiger.

1:59 – Look, it’s Kung-Fu Panda!

2:15 – The facial distortions are really messing with me. It’s kinda creepy.

2:30 – This is just weird. These Odd Future kids are quite unique.

2:36 – Frank Ocean, I’m gonna need for you to do something entertaining because you staring at the camera is killing my video breakdown.

2:42 – Have we figured out what that is he’s putting on his face though? It’s giving him the Droopy the cartoon dog face.

2:43 – Shout out to “Memoirs Of A Geisha” floating around in the corner over there.

2:48 – Ha! There goes the entertainment that I was looking for.

2:51 – Hmm, I can’t tell if he turned into a panda or one of those hooded murderers from “The Strangers.” [Side Note: Bad reviews aside “The Strangers” is a great scary movie.]
