She Want Some Marvin Gaye: Every Song From Kanye’s “Slow Jamz” (Playlist)

You probably haven't heard, but this one rapper released this one album ten years ago, it's kind of a whole thing. All week long we'll be celebrating Kanye West's classic album with a...wait for it..."College Dropout Week", but here's the thing. For my contribution today I was going to do a breakdown of the "Best & Worst Rap Lines" from the album, and that'll still happen. But as is so often the case in my life, I got completely fucking sidetracked, and ended up enjoying the sidetrack more than main road.

Or to be more specific, I started looking up every song mentioned in "Slow Jamz" and realized it's a fucking awesome compilation of '70s, '80s and '90s R&B. Plus, what better way to pay tribute to "College Dropout" and the impact it had on my life than to actually knock da boots to every song in "Slow Jamz"?

So here you go, every song mentioned by Jamie Foxx, Kanye West and Twista, in order. When an artist is mentioned repeatedly (Ready for the World has never gotten so much love), I only use one of their songs, and when there's no specific song mentioned, I grabbed what I thought was the most appropriate jam for the occasion.
