Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent & More Team Up for Terrible “Syllables” (Listen & Download)

"So we both agree this song won't ever come out, right? Cool, let's shake on it.

The surprise isn't that an Eminem supergroup track leaked, the surprise is that it took this long. According to Cashis, the Slim Shady Records soldier and one of the 189 rappers features on "Syllables", the track was recorded way back in 2007 (way back when a "TRL" reference still made sense) and was originally intended for either "Detox" or "Relapse". After all, a cut with Em, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo and the aforementioned Cashis is, in the words of the Clipse, kind of like a big deal - not exactly the kind of track you just throw out on a mixtape.

But then either some intrepid thief got his or her hands on the cut and released it to the interwebs, or Mr. Mathers realized that the track sucked and figured screw it, I'm putting it out. Either way "Syllables" is making the rounds in all of it's underwhelming glory. I place much of the blame on the production, or the lack thereof, and the barely listenable hook, but no matter how you come at it, this is a hot mess. Enjoy!
