Four years ago Asher Roth was still a new artist, so "new" he was named a XXL Freshman, but he was obviously already trying to show people that he was more than the "I Love College" guy as an emcee. For his cut on the corresponding XXL Freshman mixtape he elected to go with the lyrically dense and unapologetically conscious "The Reading".
And now "The Reading" also comes complete with visuals because...fuck it, is it ever too late to make a dope video? Also, I'm suddenly really craving a good muffin.
