Kid Cudi Unleashes New “Man on the Moon II” Single “RevOfEv” (Listen & Download)

Today is a very good day for the Cudiverse as Kid Cudi himself just dropped his new single "RevofEv", the first we've heard off his upcoming sophomore album "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager". In typical Cudi fashion there's nothing typical about "RevOfEv" (pronounced "Rev of Ev", short for "Revolution of Evolution"), thanks in large part to some extraordinarily eclectic production from Plain Pat. Lyrically Cudi does the same slow, higher than a kite, "whoa whoa whoa" vocal performance that dominated "Man on the Moon 1", which should make hardcore fans very, very happy. Blaze one to this.

So here's the thing. Personally, I'm not really that big of a Cudi fan. I think he's incredibly talented, and I totally understand why people love his music, but it just doesn't really connect with me. Hey, I love carrot cake, but my wifey? Not so much. These things happen. Also, I don't smoke a lot of weed. That would probably help.

(Where will Cudi be for the revolution? At home on his couch, eating Doritos and watching "The Price is Right" on mute with a three foot bong on the coffee table. Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

TheBayToLA	Kinda boring if you ask me, this song never really gets going. P.S. Price is Right was the sh!t, but it's just not the same with drew carrie. TV on mute, Radio turned up! P.P.S. I think alot of squares like Cudi because he makes them feel like the cool guys who get high behind the school. His songs are hit or miss for me, but his voice is undeniable.

x20nickel	Cudi connects with the stoners, the loners, girls cause they like his voice, and those who enjoy artists who have a unique sound. Personally, I would enjoy a song not all about weed.

I think stoners nod their head with cudi because the fact everything is at a slower tempo than most things we hear daily. The fact you cant just break the M.J. down roll it up and smoke it to a slower tempo song makes you enjoy the weed more. I personally dont smoke too often but have you ever had someone rush you about rolling an L ? when i smoke its too vibe... chill enjoy the moment.. I think thats what cudi is about taking it life slowly no need to rush shit (especially if you high).
