Lloyd Banks & Eminem Know “Where I’m At” (Listen & Download)

And Lloyd Banks continues to be the king of "I'm not that dope, but I somehow convince dope rappers to constantly get on tracks with me". After getting Pusha T to improve this, Kanye and Fabolous to improve this, and somehow working his way next to Royce and Joe Budden on this, Mr. Banks has pulled in the strongest rapper alive, Eminem, for his new track, "Where I'm At".

Produced by both Boi-1da & Eminem (that snare makes my head hurt), "Where I'm At" is a much slower and emotional joint that I think we were all expecting from these two - which is something that Mr. Mathers is capable of pulling off. But Banks? Yeah, he doesn't exactly have the lyrical depth to pull it off, although I have to admit his flow's pretty strong. Still, ultimately it sounds like a leftover from "Recovery'; although it's obviously getting 50's protege another post on these pages, so mission accomplished.

By the way, sweet baby jesus Mr. Mathers is putting in work lately (see?). It seems like everyday we're getting a new verse from the man - he's like a walking advertisement for sobriety.

Set_Gecko	lol you keep calling Eminem "the strongest rapper alive". What is that that Eminem is lacking? I dont really think he connects with your frustrations anymore. I mean is this man still capable of sing for the moment?

@Set_Gecko Wait, what? First you're asking what Em is lacking, then you say he doesn't connect with [Nathan's] frustrations anymore, then you're asking if he's capable of... singing?

I'm sorta confused. Pretty sure what Nathan is just saying is that Em is incredibly consistent. He's smashed pretty much every song he's been on since his return, even though his last two albums are far from his best yet.

Set_Gecko	@tdotraza not exactly, it's just the fact that Nathan insists on "strongest" means that he lacks something to be "the best", then I suggested that eminem does not connect with one's inner emotions and frustrations anymore like he used to on songs like "Sing For The Moment".

Nathan S.	^ I guess my bad for not defining things better. By "strongest" I mean he might not have as much money as Jay-Z, or be as creative as Kanye, but if the fate of the world depended on an emcee spitting a dope verse, Eminem's the clear choice. No one's perfect, but on the whole no one's rhyming as strongly as him right now.

samc15	i wud agree on calling eminem the strongest, it sort of suits him... however tbh even tho i strongly agree that Jay Z is the best rapper alive there are times when i listen to em and the truth is ther for me to see... nways im cool with any of them two being the best alive jus hope no one mentions lil wayne, i have a tendency of scalding myself wen someone does!!!
