Music: I’d say Kanye’s just slightly ahead of Em on the music power list simply because of his production, but on a purely rap level? Eminem’s the best right now, no question. I’m sure there’s someone out there who thinks Em’s wack, but there are people out there who think unicorns are real too.

Trendsetting: Em’s actually become far less of a trendsetter as the years have worn on and he’s purposefully removed himself from the spotlight. In the early 2000’s he got talked about so much he made Kanye look tame by comparison. But these days he’s content to leave the shit talking to others and simply crush every mic he touches.

Influence: He never talks about his bank account but let’s not forget that Em’s last album outsold both “Dark Twisted Fantasy”, “Blueprint 3” and “Watch the Throne”. The man’s loaded. And now that he’s sober and signing the likes of Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf he has the chance to turn Shady Records from a vanity label into a legitimate force.
