Lil B caused quite a stir when he announced that he would be titling his debut album “I’m Gay”, reportedly in an effort to truly challenge hip-hop and society’s bigotry and taboos. But this week we learned that the album would actually be titled “I’m Gay (I’m Happy)”.

If you’re going to name your album “I’m Gay” just fucking do it, don’t throw on a disclaimer. What’s the point of being controversial if you’re going to add some parentheses? The only things that make me angrier than people who stir up controversy for attention are people who stir up controversy for attention, and then back down.
