I’m Still Trying To Figure Out If This Lil Wayne “How To Love” Is A Joke (Listen & Download)

I’m about 98 percent sure that Lil Wayne is trying to “punk” us with this new song “How To Sing” err, I mean “How To Love.” It clearly should have been called “How To Sing” because that’s something Lil Wayne should have thought about doing before he recorded this song. On numerous occasions I’ve made mentions to the fact that rappers need to stay away from singing. I think this song is an ideal example of that. If there were a mecca for examples of why rappers shouldn’t sing, “How To Love” would have a full time residency. That might not make sense, but neither does this song.

Throughout the song I kept waiting for Lil Wayne to start rapping and unfortunately that moment never came. I don’t think I have ever in my life wanted Lil Wayne to jump in and start rapping on a song so badly. What makes this song even funnier, aside from Lil Wayne’s singing, is that he’s singing about love and beauty. Rappers singing about love…are we sure The Rapture didn’t happen?
