Has Wale’s “The Gifted” Trailer Warranted Any Kind Of Excitement For His Third Album? (Video)

I can't say that "excited" is necessarily the first word that comes to mind after watching Wale's minute-long "The Gifted" album trailer, but with the rapper's recent talk of returning to his original sound, the trailer has at least left me curious. The MMG emcees taps into his inner spoken word artist as he provides some brief commentary in the Chad Tennies-directed video. A brief smattering of concert footage is shown before the album's June 25 release date is revealed.

On top of his album trailer, Wale also dropped the visuals to his Tiara Thomas-assisted record "Bad" yesterday, which can be seen below. The song serves as a small sample of what can be expected on "The Gifted" when it's released this summer.

Has either "The Gifted" album trailer or Wale's "Bad" music video warranted any kind of excitement personally for his third studio album?
