When Thurz showed up for sound check at our SXSW show he had a band trailing him complete with a violin, banjo and cello. That band was Uncle Daddy and a couple hours later they and Thurz would proceed to throw down one of the more unexpectedly dope shows I've ever seen.

These days it's pretty rare to be able to say "you haven't heard anything like this" and mean it, but I find it hard to believe you've ever heard anything like a bluegrass/rock/etc. band combined with "L.A. Riot" starter Thurz on a track like "Wake Up" before. So whether you end up digging it or not, take a moment out of your day and press play out of respect for someone truly being original in today's copy and paste world.
