With an immense amount of hype surrounding Atlanta rapper Trinidad James and his record "All Gold Everything," it was only a matter of time before Trinidad hit listeners with a follow-up record to his catchy hit. And he's finally done just that with the release of the Mike WiLL Made It-produced cut "That Turn Up."

I was really kinda hoping for the anti-"All Gold Everything" with "That Turn Up" since it seems that up-and-comer's like to stick with the formula to whatever song launched them into stardom. "That Turn Up" isn't terribly reminiscent of "All Gold Everything," but it does lack the depth I was hoping for with a follow-up from Trinidad. Yeah, it'll get the kids hella turnt up at their underground club of choice but Hip-Hop heads are about to e-slaughter this one in the comments section of blogs worldwide. Also, I think Mike WiLL Made It seems to have gotten pretty comfortable with his newfound stardom because his production as of late has been real lackluster.

There's no word yet on when we can expect a new project from Trinidad, but "That Turn Up" will be featured on Mike WiLL Made It's "Est. In 1989 2.5" project which is due out on December 24.
