Talib Kweli’s “Fly Away” Gets Dopely Re-Produced (EP Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 12/19/12 | Filed under Downloads, Mixtapes, Talib Kweli

Out of everything I did in 2012, I think I'm most proud of becoming the definitive source for all things Krispy Kreme. But the next thing I'm the most proud of is this new "Re-Produced" series we're running on the mothership.

As loyal citizens of RefinedHype Nation already know, the concept is simple: An artist gives the mothership one of their best songs, then we invite three select producers to not just remix, but re-produce (as in re-imagine, re-invent) the song.

For the last "Re-Produced" of the year we linked up with the legendary Talib Kweli and his "Fly Away" single, then grabbed Apollo Brown, Willie B and Shoden!1 to provide their own spin. If you're a rap nerd, production nerd, DJ nerd or hell, even just a nerd, you're going to love this shit.

Enjoy...
